Opening Sequences and Enigma - Introduction

One final purpose of opening sequences, especially those from the horror and thriller genres, is to create enigma. I am going to look at two films which withhold narrative information from their audience in the opening sequences to create mystery and intrigue. The two films are 'Enigma' and 'Glass Onion'.
